   Be careful with ownership of the directories, issue a proper copy    
   command to keep all the user access rights on the destination copy, then    
   modify your /etc/fstab file to move the /home mount point to the new disk.   
   Remember to wipe clean the old /home to avoid a total mess!   
      
   I did it straight during installation, with Edgy Eft.   
      
   I have the / (and all descendants) on a 60 GB disk, the /home on another    
   80 GB, and the swap on a third 3.2 GB disk. All done during install    
   through the partition manager.
