   Rather than go to that much trouble, I'd rather wait to see if the market    
   moves to Linux. I've no need to run Linux today. My Windows apps run fine on    
   Windows.   
      
   I'm just looking for the day when Windows XP becomes untenable (remember ...    
   this was predicated on the notion that I don't want to move to Vista). At    
   that point in the future, I might want to move to Linux, and I'd like to    
   take my apps with me.   
      
   If Linux becomes a viable alternative for me someday, I'd hope that it would    
   have sufficient market share to interest the software vendors. If that    
   happens, my current apps might be available on Linux. If so, problem solved.
