   Cool. Then once you get Universe enabled for apt, simply do:   
      
   apt-get install xubuntu-desktop   
      
   That'll install XFCE along with a bunch of support utilities for it. You'll   
   then basically have all of Xubuntu installed on your system, and from the   
   login screen, you can choose "XFCE" for the Session to log in to.
