   If there were not the goal, why does so many Linux enthousiasts preach    
   angainst Windows?   
      
   IMHO it should be the goal, once the critical mass will be reached, most of    
   the driver issues will vanish and a lot of people will concentrate on more    
   productive issues.   
      
   I have got Linux in my microwave, Japan has it in the most powerful    
   supercomputer, are billions of desktop users out of reach?
