   Download and burn PCLinuxOS Minime - it barely comes with any   
   applications and so it fits well within 650 megabytes. Then you can use   
   the package manager program to download whatever programs you want.   
      
   Alternatively, since it's an older PC, you could try one of the   
   mini-distros like Puppy or Feather Linux. These are likely to run better   
   on an older machine.
