   I recently added a herd of applications through Synaptic, involving   
   a long session of scrolling through aps and selecting them.  I   
   expect to destroy this system and re-install it shortly, in order   
   to do some reasonable partitioning.   
      
   With that preamble, has synaptic kept a log of the installations so   
   that I can simply repeat it after the re-install.  And, if so,   
   where.
