   Hi,
Randomly when I boot Ubuntu I get to the splash screen (with the moving
bar) and the computer freezes. Other times the computer with go
straight to the desktop, other times the bar will move and it will boot
'normally'. I don't boot too often, but it is annoying to wait for the
post beep, I get SATA splash screens and then Grub.

Trying to trace the problem I do notice that I get a 3 or 4 errors to do
with the graphics card before Grub, sometimes it will stay on the error
part for a 'flash' and it wont boot, other times I can read the errors
for some time and then the Ubuntu splash screen will load as normal.

The errors are in the form of memory address locations. I have a PCIe
   Nvidia gfx card.

   Any ideas?
