    Hi   
    I have had a problem burning discs in the most recent version of   
   Gnome with Ubuntu 6.10 and Fedora Core 6. they don't recognize that I   
   have a disc in the drive. I have tried the burner that comes with   
   Nautilus and Gnome Baker {I like that program} Gnome Baker said that   
   it didn't recognize the type of disc. I thought it might be because I   
   was using cheap discs but I tried it on Ubuntu 6.06 and it worked just   
   fine I am using a Compaq Presario that I bought in 2000 I think they   
   had a funky cd setup with both cdroms on the same bus..I changed that   
   and it screwed things up even more My question is..is it something at   
   My end or is there a known bug reagarding burning in Gnome
