I work in an emergency call center and the software we use has both a
GUI and Command Line. Those that use the command line are considerably
quicker than those using the GUI. However, there is little point in
forcing the CL on those that cannot remember all the shortcuts, as it
would mean we would not have any staff left. Might be the same with Linux
   users?
Each to their own. As long as there are options for both sides who cares!
