   I saw a problem where there was none. Just a matter of having the   
   window on top. The Linux PC is not on right now, but I think it   
   involved a right click on the titele bar of the install module to make   
   a menu appear.   
      
   New problem arose though: adjusting screen resolution and monitor   
   frequency. Ubuntu recognizes the svga card but only gives low   
   resolutions (800x600, 640x480) and 60 Hz. for the 15" monitor. I want   
   1024x768 and 75 Hz, which is the setting under Windows.   
      
   BTW, the monitor supports
