   Not necessarily.  You are not including the time to take your hands   
   of the keyboard, wiggle the rodent, diddle a button, put your hands   
   back on the keyboard in the wrong place, make an entry, look up and   
   see that you have typed garbage, erase the input, reposition your   
   hand, make the correct entry.  Things could be worse, you could   
   have hit return after making the incorrect entry and destroyed   
   something.  This is why all GUI clicks should have available   
   keyboard shortcuts.  Let the poor rodent sleep.   
      
   There is also a difference in philosophy.  I want to tell the   
   machine what to do.  The gooey systems want to tell me what limited   
   things I can do.  There is a place for both.
