   i have the savage ix video card and am having some trouble resolving the   
   monitor resolution issue. currently i cant get set higer than 640x480 does   
   anyone have any suggestions?    
      
   if i need to ditch the savage what card would be most likely to be   
   successful in running Kubuntu i would be happy with 800x but would perfer   
   the 1024x settings.
