   I've tried a few other programs, I tried to use Thunderbird for a while    
   but gave up on it. When I went back to Turnpike I even shelled out for a    
   multiuser license. Demon being Demon they screwed up the order, but that    
   wasn't unexpected.   
      
   What I think I'll do is go back to one of the text-only newsreaders.    
   I've just put slrn on this Windows box and I'll give that a try. Having    
   looked at slrn I can see where the graphical browsers got their design    
   ideas. But slrn in a 132 x 40 screen looks to be a definite improvement    
   on Tbird or Claws.
