   I know nothing about Linux, that being said I was able to get both ubuntu   
   and kubuntu up and running from the cd. Yes things work differently but   
   with the support here and elsewhere you can do it. I used an extra hard   
   drive to try it out first. So far I think I like kubuntu better, hard to   
   say why. Dive in the waters warn and not that deep, now command line is   
   another story. 8^)
