   No, USB boot is not an option.  Old laptop, cannot boot from USB.   
      
   I have taken the coward's way out, though, and purchased the External   
   drive cable from E-Bay, and will be installing Xubuntu with the CD Drive   
   from my Wife's laptop...   ;-)
