   More help needed with 6.06.

Error message (at boot) reads as follows -

fsck.ext2 : No such file or directory while trying to
   open /dev/hda8
File system check failed. Please repair manually

I'm fairly certain that I know why !

I just used GParted to merge /hda6 and /hda7
(prior to that, /hda7 was an empty ext2 partition
   as was /hda8)

So the old /hda8 is now renamed /hda7
(I intend using this partition for /home)
   and /hda8 no longer exists.

ie in GParted, the Linux part of my HD
   now looks like this :
   /dev/HDA5 swap 204 Mb
   /dev/HDA6 ext2 7.1Gb 6.06
   /dev/HDA7 ext2 7.05 Gb /home

I can get into Ubuntu and everything
   seems to be working OK.

What do I need to do to repair the filesystem
and get rid of the error message ?
