   I just installed ubuntu edgy and have built several kernels.Last one was   
   2.6.21rc1 and I'm using this now.   
   When I boot (with each kernel I've built) at boot time many messages fly   
   by so fast I can't read themb but have the following ingo in them:   
   modeprobe fatal /lib/modules/2.6.21-rc1-custom1/modules.dep  file not found   
      
   The modules.dep is there!   
   Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong or suggest how to correct this?
