   wrong. It is not faulty. Or "alleged". It is configured to do it because   
   of the plethora of overly long sigs in existence these days. As are many   
   others. Gnus even has features to tone down the font so you can hardly   
   see them. Basically if you have advice give it, don't point to net nanny   
   signatures. In the same way you gripe about no context, it is the   
   same. Sure, you could fetch the parent article but I agree its a pain   
   not to have context and might mention it occasionally.   
      
   And besides, if the OP was to reply to you, and cut your signature, then   
   the point is still valid - readers who read the reply will NOT see your   
   links.
