I wrote a simple hello world program using Gambas but can't run it from my
home directory. I get this error:

Cannot open /home/dgk/New directory/HelloWorld/HelloWorld: No application
suitable for automatic installation is available for handling this kind of
   file.

I checked the permissions and I have read/write, and "allow executing
   file as program" is checked.

Thanks. I have managed to get Pan running which is a victory.
