   There is an interesting sidelight to that. The original lawsuit (the   
   bit about an integrated browser) was pretty bogus. In fact, I think it   
   only went through because the folks doing the suing were major   
   campaign contributors, while the defendant, Microsoft, hadn't given a   
   dime to any politician. That soon changed (Microsoft IS after all   
   known to copy success) and Microsoft was fighting on an even footing,   
   thus the lawsuit was settled.   
      
   Don't blame MS for making campaign bribes; they didn't innovate that   
   one.
