   From what I've read, this appears to be a fairly common problem   
   with wireless cards. The manufacturer switches the source for the   
   chipset but doesn't give any indication of this in their part number.   
      
   It doesn't appear to make a blind bit of difference under Windoze   
   but causes all sorts of support problems under Linux.
