   This is actually a configurable option in the JamNNTPd service.   
      
   def_showto [on|off]   
      
   The on position tells the server to append "-> " into the From:   
   field.   Off obviously has just the user the message was posted by in the   
   From: field.   This is to work around the fact that Fidonet echomail has a To:   
   address,  while a Newsgroup posting does not.   
      
   That option combined with the default behavior of most modern newsgroup   
   clients, puts the contents of the From: field in the greeting as above.
