   I have that combination ready to test but not currently operating.  The test   
   system has been running Xubuntu since February (upgraded from 11.10 -->   
   12.04), with Crashmail II operating as a backup by sucking-up all mail from my   
   main Fido system.  GoldEd works with some occasional errors.  JamNNTPd is   
   installed though it has never been executed.   
      
   I could test your proposal, if you'd like.  What's your deadline?  (Yesterday?)
