   You may think that the nntp server (jamnntpd) is only a way to   
   read/write fidonet messages. Everything is pure fidonet, no gateways.   
   There are also many other ways, like telnettable bbs's or www-based bbs's.   
      
   How fidonet mail is transferred between fidonet systems, that's another   
   story. :)
