      By way of indicating where I'm at in that process, 32 & 64 bit builds of a   
   preliminary JamNNTPd v1.0 package for Ubuntu v12.04 (precise) are available at   
   the 'FTN Applications Team' package archive at Launchpad [1]:   
      
   jamnntpd_1.0-0precise1~3_i386.deb   
   jamnntpd_1.0-0precise1~3_amd64.deb   
      
      Build logs are available for them there as well (one of the reasons I went   
   ahead and did the upload).   
      
      I'm running a Debian v7 (wheezy) build of that locally. I think what I have   
   left to do is just finishing touches to the packaging (like adding the name of   
   this echo to the example jamnntpd.groups file...), but if anyone has any   
   comments, critiques, etc., please let me know.
