   For my purposes the SMAPI version falls short on a capability to create some   
   form of semaphore file, to indicate when a new mail has been written in either   
   the *.MSG or Squish bases.  For the main version using JAM, I use (in the   
   config file)...   
      
     -echomailjam I:\FLAG_DIR\sendmail.sem   
      
   Such a facility for the other bases would be nice(?).  8-).
