Hi mark!              09 May 13 13:29, you wrote to me:               ml>> my version is compiled locally on OS2 with EMX... i can only        ml>> hope that the new version, if/when it is released will also        ml>> compile the same ;)               RC>> It staying cross-platform is also an interest of mine. In fact        RC>> if someone else doesn't work on it first, I've planned to add        RC>> CMake as the build system for it.               ml> i don't konw what CMake is other than yet another make system...               CMake isn't a "make system", it's a build system[1]; something like       autotools/automake, except that it's cross platform. It "generates native       makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your       choice" from "platform and compiler independent configuration files"; on MS       Windows, this includes MS Visual Studio project files. I understand that it is       available for OS/2 [2], though I've no current way of testing it myself as I       haven't used OS/2 for years.        Associated tools can be used for distribution archives and installers (CPack)       as well as for a testing framework (CTest).                            Jame       [1] http://www.cmake.org/       [2] http://smedley.id.au/os2ports_new/index.php?page=cmake              --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5--b20111217        * Origin: RJC eeePC (1:120/419)    |
