   Hi! Jame,

On Thu, 09 May 13, you wrote to me:

    PQ>> .... it's in an archive called JamNNTPd-1.2.3-Win32.zip
PQ>> (FREQ-able as JamNNTPd-1), dated June last year.

Uh, oh. All of my FREQ-related work was done back around the turn of the
millenia. I've had a few sleeps since then, and have forgotten the
idiosycrasies of its operation. In particular when working with long file
   names.

RC> I was able to get it by explicitly requesting it.

That'll work every time. But, oops. I've just sent it without reading here
first, since I noticed some screwup with the session as I was about to hit the
   sack last night... oops.

RC> Also; do you have a 'magic' configured for your all files list,
RC> presumeing you have such? Was wanting to see what other versions you
    RC> might have.

Golly. There was an actual file called files.fix, I think. It seems tobe
some garbage(?) that came through the BFDS file echo, or when I did a one-time
'wget' synchronisation with Ben's repository, that I was unaware of. An
alternate majic name for the Allfiles listing is 'allfiles'. (It's a
straightforward DOS listing of all files on the archive drive.)

Apologies for the screwups but we're both at the mercy of DOS.

   Cheers,
   Paul.

... Gone crazy, be back later. Please leave message after the beep...
