Hi! David,              On Sun, 14 Oct 12, you wrote to me:               PQ>> Yes, to a Fidonet sysop, point op, or, user with netmail access.               DD> 6.7 Netmail        DD> -----------        DD> JamNNTPd now also supports netmail. In netmail areas, users can only        DD> read messages to or from one of the names configured in the        DD> jamnntpd.users file.               DD> Replies to netmails are handled transparently and the name and        DD> address of the recipient are taken from the original message. When a        DD> user wants to write a new netmail, the name and address of the        DD> recipient are specified on the first line of the new message using        DD> this format:               DD> To: name, address               DD> Example:               DD> To: Johan Billing, 2:15/87               DD> A To: line can also be used to specify an alternative recipient in        DD> both netmail and echomail areas.              You know, I had forgotten all about the basics. Thanks for that. Does it       (the second method) work from an ordinary echo/group?              I did find that Tommi's solution seemed to work quite well. I made a netmail       reply to Benny from this echo on your server, just by changing the newsgroup       name to "NETMAIL" on the Thunderbird form. JamNNTPd filled in the rest when       it saved the message to your disk. I've tracked the netmail's movement       through my node in the logs, on its way to Ricky.              What the original doco (the section you quoted) talks about is working       entirely in the netmail area/group, when reading & writing netmails... I think.              Cheers,       Paul.              ...
