    SS> Sorry OS/2 folks - I cannot legally create a build environment

Just out of curiosity: What makes you think that downloading a copy of OS/2
(from the link I provided for you) is illegal?

Yes indeed, we nowadays have all kinds of twisted laws all around the
world, laws that are supposed to protect the originator of certain inventions
   and similar.

But are those laws really something that we need to follow?

E.g. how much money will IBM lose if you download a copy of OS/2 from
someone who chooses to share his copy with you? You know the answer, of
course, not a single cent. So whose are those laws protecting?

      After all:

SS> I did own a copy of IBM OS/2 1.2 (on 3.5 floppy discs) and IBM OS/2 Warp
SS> (also on 2 dozen floppy discs). No sign of them anymore, and I don't even
SS> have a 3.5 drive left in my junk box.

Surely you have "earned" your legal copy of OS/2. You will not deprive
anybody of his or her rightful earnings when downloading a TPB shared copy --
   right?

Go for it! Forget the Media Maffia and their twisted take on intellectual
   property!
