      by this:

            memmove(buf+1,buf,strlen(buf)+1);   
      
   2. Insert this:   
      
            if(line[0]=='.')   
               memmove(line,line+1,strlen(line));   
      
      just before this:   
      
            if(textpos + strlen(line) > POST_MAXSIZE-1)
