   Oh.  Okay.  Thanks.  I was unsure and wanted to 'play safe'.   
      
   It may have been a silly question.  I just wasn't sure if some override was   
   necessary to the codepage that Windows enables at boot-time.  I recall from my   
   early DOS days where it used to be necessary to specify one for the DOS   
   display driver.  That is going way back but thinking again on it, Michiel   
   would have mentioned it.  He's good at providing all of the required facts.

   Close.  It's something I picked up from a past boss, an Army Major of Signals.   
   Not only does it encompass the feel of "sk†l" (as I kunderstand it) but also   
   has an tinge of respect bound up in its use, to close off a conversation.
