   There is no CURRENT GOLD VERSION. You either go with a /working/ binary, or   
   compile the code yourself. You were pointed to a place you could get a working   
   binary from.

   No. The GOLDEN SOURCE is current source code you can compile yourself. You   
   apparantly don't want to compile yourself, so you were pointed to one of the   
   locations you could get a working binary from.
