   my inderstanding is that the fix was not in until version 1.2... i've been   
   running 1.0 on my OS/2 system until yesterday when i pulled and compiled   
   1.2... when i pulled the new headers and updated my existing ones, there was   
   no "manglement" and what was there before was fixed when i updated my existing   
   ones...   
      
   in thunderbird, i used the [REPAIR] option in the groups' properties and   
   (re)pulled all the headers...   
      
   you are also using HPT, correct? are you also using the readorigin switch in   
   your jamnntpd configuration?
