10 Sep 15 20:45, you wrote to me:               ml>> what's the latest version of jamnntpd available?               TK> 1.2. I think.              that's the last i saw, i think... not really sure, though... i know that one       added TLS capabilities... someone also converted to smapi which is ok to a       point i guess... there were other little fixes by a couple of others, too...       and RJ (IIRC) was working on getting all the warnings taken care of...               ml>> is there a repo for it?               TK> 'git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/ftnapps/jamnntpd/code        TK> ftnapps-jamnntpd-code'              ahhh! i was looking on the github ftnapps repo and only saw the samapinntpd       over there... nothing of the jamnntpd...               ml>> does it compile with EMX on OS/2?               TK> Yes.              great!               ml>> preferably the one with the original (and fixed?) JAM code...               TK> I never got the smapi version compiled, but I do not know what would be        TK> better in that.. Other than support for more formats.              there is that... plus the smapi jam code does some things differently than the       original code the creators released... kinda like how golded deletes JAM       messages differently than the spec...              one last thing, do you know if there's a fix in it for thunderbird not getting       the from name displayed correctly? i see that paul posted about it some time       back but it never affected me or my server... then some users of ross' server       are seeing problems in at least one echo... today, all of a sudden, messages       from my server are not showing the from field properly unless there's a valid       email address in the line...              eg: From: "some one -> another guy" <1:3634/12>               displays as               13634/12               with no name...              however               From: "some guy -> that girl" |
