      What we've discovered during the more than ten years of testing, is that   
   one big problem is that most fido editors don't use the CHARS kludge to   
   convert the message header -- so the news readers used to access JamNNTPd   
   messages work differently than the fido editors accessing the same message.   
      
      In fact, one of the last comments by Johan Billing was that he realised   
   this problem, but could not easily figure out how to fix it.
