Max       started off by filling their message areas from mine by rescanning everything       i have... some couple of hundred meg of PKTs later and they had everything...       since then, their system has its own purging schedule but they pull every echo       i have... i do know that their dupe detection is set for like 20000 or was it       50000 per area... i don't know what kind of dupe checking they're doing,       though...              FWIW: my main system has only one dupe database to cover all message areas...       not one per area... this is one difference... another is that a message posted       to more than one area is not a duplicate but some systems see them as such       because of a shoddy duplicate detection implementation... but oh well...       that's something they have to deal with ;)               )\/(ark               * Origin: (1:3634/12)    |
