Hi Peter!              24 May 13 13:15, you wrote to me:               >> I do have the v1.0 and older versions in a GIT repository, including        >> and coming from an import from the original authors mercurial        >> repository.               PK> Do you have more history than the repo where I imported the original        PK> tarballs? If so, I am very interested (even if I am currently not        PK> spending any time at all on neither JamNNTPd nor CrashMail, I like to        PK> keep track of changes to the codebases).               There has been for Crashmail, though I need to push all of the changes to       the repositories (I've been testing a v1.4 build and will be updateing the       Debian package for that).               For jamnntpd; well, yes and no... Found and imported some old work of mine;       which marked Johans' OS/2 port as JamNNPTd v1.1, and merged your 'addressfix'       in as v1.2. Those changes still need to be pushed to the repositories and       archives made available. I've done no testing of v1.2, though, so I'm still       targeting v1.0 for the initial Debian package; that's in the 'debian' branch,       which I need to try pushing again as well. (I'm testing 1.0-1~3 while what's       available so far at the repositories is v1.0-1~2; I want to get it all out       where others can review it and/or work with it if they like, but having an       unreliable internet connection is a real pain...)               Longer term for Crashmail & JamNNTPd; I'd like to see getting the jamlib       version used by crashmail & jamnntpd (sf.net/p/jamlib; still need to push the       git repo, etc.) packaged for Debian, then update crashmail & jamnntpd to use       that, then update the packageing for that. Plus bug fixes and maintenance, of       course. And I've started a (currently local) branch for using CMake as the       cross platform build & test system.               For the jamnntpd-smapi version; as you may have seen, I've started a (so       far, local only) SmapiNNTPd repository based on and derived from the smapi       branch of both the repo you created (and now also at the SF project) and an       import from Johans' mercurial repository. Did find some updated versions of       jamnntpd-smapi that a Scott Street created, so figure to merge that in; and       then can look at merging any non message base specific changes back into       jamnnptd.                                   Jame                     --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5--b20111217        * Origin: RJC eeePC (1:120/419)    |
