   hummm... that may be what i was thinking of but i also have JAMUTIL written by   
   mats wallin and mats birch... it allows a complete walk thru of the jambase...   
   i've used it before to find problems but it can be a long drawn out manual   
   thing... it is not automated at all because it is designed to show you the   
   message fields, subfields, and text in a very raw format, one message at the   
   time... i don't recall what i used to fix the problems i found back then...   
   that was around 20 years ago since both JAMINFO and JAMUTIL are carrying   
   filedates of 1993 on my system...
