   I wouldn't expect to turn up a bug in the combo.  It would be more likely a

   Same, same... each morning... ermm, your night.  ;-)  Actually, it was the   
   timing of the maint that provided something of a clue.  The 'problem' surfaced   
   only after a maintenance run, apparently.
