In case you start seeing an error message like this:              "Access denied (server full) "               ... in your log files, it can be caused by a too narrow setting of the       allowed number of connections allowed to your JamNNTPd server.               This is "regulated" with the "max" command if you use a config file or with       an "-m ##" command if you use a command line approach. If memory serves me       right, the default is a low 5 or something, usually needed seven to eight       years ago, on the computers and operating systems we used by then.               To allow e.g. 20 simultaneous connections -- no problems with any Linux box       or a Windows box that is not one of the old, cheap versions called "Home" or       similar -- you add/change to "max 20" in your config file or "-m 20" on your       command line.              --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; sv-SE; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101125        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
