   Hate to say it, but I told you so. Irex is abandoned software and you   
   won't get any help from the author. It's too bad that you paid for the   
   upgrade, but that's life. Personally, I think its shameful that the   
   software is abandoned and the author still collects registration money for   
   it. the best you can do is live with what you have or move on...D'Bridge   
   is a very good alternative and does more than Irex in the long run.   
      
   D'Bridge has its quirks too, but at least there is a live author who deals   
   with these problems in his support echo. IMO, you can't go wrong with it   
   and if you're running a BBS, that's also included in the package.
