Dunno about FD 2.25 as I've never used it, but I use FD (Up to 2.20). I
also have 'type of .msgs' set to Opus 1.02. Dunno if that's part of the
problem or not. I also have TransX Mode set to compatable.

This is one of the quirks of IREX...you can set 'send to unknown nodes' to
yes and exit the rexcfg and then return to it and that setting will always
be set to No...dunno why. BTW, I use a GoldEd compiled nodelist rather
   than the FD compile.

The route.rex file can be edited to send mail directly to any node listed
in the node manager, but not a node Rex can only find in the nodelist.
Sometimes rex will read the nodelist, other times it won't.

Nope. You have the same setup that I have and it works as advertised, but
has a few hangups that can no longer be addressed by the author because
   he's abandoned the package.

    BM> Any ideas?

I've run into the session password thing before, but I don't recall what
it was that finally allowed that field to be used. It has something to do
with the way you've configured the node, but I don't recall the switch
that turns that session field on/off. It might do some good to delete that
node's config, exit rexcfg and start over...sometimes rex doesn't write
   the cfg files correctly.
