   why does this happen, I backup my files just in case and it seemed to clear   
   the issue.   
      
   here is my rexstart.bat

   del /q c:\rex\sems\rexbusy.0   
   net start "internet rex"   
   c:\rex\rexw.exe -daemon   
   * the rex icon still appears within the system tray   
      
   also   
      
   I backed up the file rexup.0 within the sems directory
