Hello STEVEN,              On Tuesday May 31 2011 13:00, you wrote to Joe Delahaye:               SR> To bad he did not build Telnet into Irex. Maybe (if he is working on a        SR> new version) he will add Telnet to it! .. Well we can hope ..              I have no need for telnet in a mailer. Binkp is vastly superior, so who needs       telnet if you have binkp?              Anyway, I would prefer to have the existing bugs and shortcomings fixed,       rather than having new whistles and bells.              Last week I was reminded of another annoying bug: Irex does not honour the       direct flag. When a node has been entered in de node manager, Irex will always       insist on sending a message direct. With or without the direct flag. There is       no way to route a message, when the destination node is in the node manager.       When he is temporarely down, you can not send its mail to his host or hub for       pickup. The only way is to remove that node from the node manager. Flagging it       as inactive won't do it, you have to remove it completely. Annoying...                     Cheers, Michiel              --- GoldED+/W32-MINGW 1.1.5-b20070503        * Origin: http://www.vlist.org (2:280/5555)    |
