Did your       system crash, did you do a reboot without exiting REX, etc.. Both would be       a reason to look at config files that worked before, as any number of your       configuration files could be corrupted.              You shouild also look for a REXUP.0 or REXBUSY.0 file (usually in your       FLAG subdirectory if you configed one) that is telling REX that it is       busy...you can, but shouldn't, start a second session in IREX, which is       why someone has shown you their batch file that looks for those files and       deletes them before the batch* calls for IREX to start. i.e if rexup.0       exists, you will never get REX to start again.              If you haven't configed a FLAG sub-directory you'll find those *.0 files       in the IREX directory. This is the most common problem that nimrod users       make when they try to start IREX in -daemon -tray mode. It also pays to       keep a 'working' version as a backup. If something changes, you can always       use that for a fallback.              *              CD/IREX/FLAGS       if exist *.0 del *.0       if not exist goto START              :START              CD/IREX       rexw.exe -daemon -tray              :END       exit                     Satisfied?                      R\%/itt               "Peltier was responsible for the close range execution of FBI agents..."       --- Twit(t) Filter v2.1 (C) 2000-10        * Origin: SATX Alamo Area Net * South * Texas, USA * (1:387/22)    |
