-> Did that, but it changed nothing. So, I copied over a copy of the   
   -> entire IREX directory, and it works. But, the same question   
   -> looms-what if it happens again??   
      
   When this happens to me I just delete the sem files and copy over the   
   event.rex file. The event file is usually the one that gets corupted for   
   some reason.
