   Maybe me then :)   
      
   As I remember and as I have irex running as a extra mailer client for some   
   nodes, so it "11" error because that irex linux has dns lookup error, and not   
   like to use hostname to poll but have to use ip addressing for polls as   
   11.222.222.2   
      
   It you only know a links hostname then try to do 'ping hostname' and write the   
   reply ping ip address down and use it.
