My not so humble opinion is that getting rid of IPv4 is a good       idea. Ipv6 is the future and keeping both versions alive side by side is       needlessly complex and expansive. So the sooner we get rid of IPv4, the       better. About a decade ago I decided not to buy new network equipment that       does not support IPv6 end earlier this year I updated it to: No network       equipment that can not function in an IPv6 only environment.              Having said that, the reality is that lots of things do not work properly yet       without IPv4, so the IPv6 only age is still a log way off.              That the Czech government takes this step is a good thing. I hope more will       follow. Then again a lot can happen in eight years, so we we see if they       really go through with it.              Also read:              https://www.sidnlabs.nl/nieuws-en-blogs/kan-ipv4-al-uit-over-ons       jaarlijkse-ipv 6-only-experiment              Sorry, it is in Dutch...                     Cheers, Michiel              --- GoldED+/W32-MSVC 1.1.5-b20130111        * Origin: Michiel's laptop (2:280/464.5555)       SEEN-BY: 10/0 1 90/1 103/705 104/117 105/81 106/201 124/5016 128/260       SEEN-BY: 153/757 7715 154/10 30 203/0 214/22 218/0 1 215 700 860 870       SEEN-BY: 218/940 221/0 226/30 227/114 229/110 112 113 206 317 400       SEEN-BY: 229/426 428 470 550 616 664 700 240/1120 5832 266/512 280/464       SEEN-BY: 280/5003 5006 282/1038 291/111 292/854 8125 301/1 310/31       SEEN-BY: 320/219 322/757 341/66 234 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58       SEEN-BY: 467/888 633/280 712/848 770/1 5020/400 545       PATH: 280/464 103/705 218/700 229/426           |
