Rinaldo       configured that host name in his WinPoint config. Rinaldo polled with the IPv6       address.              2) I added an A record to that host name. Rinaldo polled with IPv6.              3) I removed the AAAA record for the host name. Rinaldo polled with IPv4.              4) I added the AAAA record back in. Rinaldo polled with IPv6.              5) I removed the A record. Rinalodo polls with IPv6.              Conclusion: Winpoint follows the OS if the OS is configured to do IPv6 first       if the host is reachable by IPv6 and IPv4. If only one of the two is available       WinPoint uses that. All as expected.              What was not tested was the case that the OS is configured to try IPv4 first.                     Cheers, Michiel              --- GoldED+/W32-MSVC 1.1.5-b20170303        * Origin: he.net certified sage (2:280/5555)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/0 90/1 105/81 106/201 987 120/340 123/131 124/5014       SEEN-BY: 124/5016 129/331 130/330 153/7715 218/700 226/30 229/110       SEEN-BY: 229/206 317 400 424 426 428 550 664 700 240/5832 266/512       SEEN-BY: 280/464 282/1038 301/1 317/3 320/219 322/757 342/200 387/25       SEEN-BY: 387/26 28 396/45 633/280       PATH: 280/5555 464 396/45 229/426           |
